Telstra Outage

Telstra is advising communities in the Kimberley region that a planned outage will occur from:

Midnight Wednesday 11 December to 0600 Thursday 12 December (planned 6 hours)

The outage will impact some landline, broadband and mobile services and involves the relocation and repair of an optic fibre.

The planned work is essential to maintain the integrity of the Telstra network and to avoid an unplanned outage in the future. This planned outage is designed to minimise the time taken to conduct the work and restore services to have the least impact on Telstra customers.

Any calls made to 000 from a mobile phone can still be connected if alternative networks are available through other carriers.

Telstra apologises for any inconvenience caused during this period.
