An East Kimberley training initiative has set out to make real change across the region by proactively gaining employment for “vulnerable” people living on welfare. MG Corporation’s 100 Plus Jobs employment initiative, supported by Binarri-binyja yarrawoo, has placed 52 indigenous people from Kununurra, Wyndham and Halls Creek into skilled employment since March last year.

Round One of the McGowan Government's Investor Ready Grant Program will provide a maximum pool of $320,000 for businesses to access professional business services such as investment and financial planning, business coaching and legal advice.
