KIMBERLEY SHIRES CALL FOR REGION-WIDE TRAVEL BAN The four Kimberley shires have called for the State Government to enforce a travel ban to the region. “We are calling on the State Government to enforce a maximum level of travel restrictions across and around the Kimberley region as soon as possible,” Broome Shire president Harold Tracey said.

The Territory is shutting its borders next week, forcing all who arrive to be quarantined for 14 days amid fears of spreading coronavirus. From 4pm on Tuesday March 24, anyone arriving in the Northern Territory will be forced to quarantine for two weeks.
