Kimberley Settlement Services

About

Funding for the Settlement Service program was secured in November 2023 via a grant agreement with the Department of Training and Workforce Development. With this funding, the EKCCI has developed Kimberley Settlement Services, which assisted newly arrived migrants to settle into their new Kimberley community, particularly in the first 12 months. In the East Kimberley, we have sought to leverage and build on existing opportunities in the region, to provide wrap-around support, assist in connecting the dots, and create pathways to support the successful social and cultural orientation and integration of migrants into the region.

The Kimberley Settlement Services program was available for two years. During this time we were able to support many amazing people into our community.
